Anti-Reflective Coating Removal
Anti-Reflective Coating is a multi layer coating that is applied to lenses to reduce glare. There are benefits to an anti-reflective coating, although over time the coating may become scratched and cloudy. The defective coating can be removed to leave a scratch free lens.
The removal process involves the coating being chemical removed. The process is very effective and is normally completed and returned the same day.
After the coating is removed it can be treated as a lens that was never coated. A defective coating can be identified by slight hairline scratches and the inability to clean the lens. Removal of the coating can add a whole new life to your lenses.
